Sydney- Investment Banking- Contract or TemporaryOne of our tier 1 investment banking clients is seeking an assistant to support their team in the evenings (4pm - 8pm Monday to Thursday and 3pm
- 7pm on Friday) within their Investment Banking Division. Initially this position is a 12-month contract role.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Be confident in person and on the phone
- Be able to articulate themselves quickly and clearly
- Be sharply presented, and
- Ideally will have some financial markets experience - with a focus on equities.

**Responsibilities**:
The responsibilities will vary broadly depending on market requirements, and the requirements of the senior executives within the group but will include;
Work Hours: 4pm - 8pm Monday to Thursday and 3pm
- 7pm on Friday
- Telephone answering is a priority & accurate and prompt messages
- Assisting Office Manager with expense processing, ad hoc tasks and projects
- Supporting bankers when other EAs finish early or are on leave
- Diary management (Outlook), setting up calls (internal: across offices as required, external: clients and other third parties eg law, accounting firms etc)
- Travel; book or change flights and accommodation for bankers through after hours Travel office, including knowledge of travel policy guidelines and preferred hotels
- Assisting bankers: pro-actively ask bankers if they need anything done in the evenings, general admin tasks, organising calls, travel, entering business cards to Contacts etc
- General tidying in office, spare desks, benches etc

**Qualifications / Experience Required**
- Advanced MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel
- Previous EA/ PA or TA experience from another global investment bank or similar professional services environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Administration experience
- Experience within the finance industry required
- Flexibility to work extra hours when required to meet business demands
