**You’ll need**
- Two years minimum sterilisation experience in any of the following: a veterinary or human hospital surgical department, Central Sterilisation in a research lab, serum/vaccine lab or similar industry
- And/or relevant qualifications such as Certificate III Sterilisation Services will be highly regarded

**About the job**

Essential to the surgical team, your work preparing equipment will ensure our surgical team are ready for action. You’ll:

- Ensure surgical instruments, equipment and surgical areas are clean, sterile, up-to-date, stocked and prepared for the day
- Control and maintain surgical equipment and surgical consumable stock levels, working with suppliers & their service teams
- Commit to continued learning and share your know-how with others, informing the surgical team of changes and advancements to equipment and supplies
- Follow processes and policies around sterilisation and infection control, maintaining agreed standards
- Continually look for ways to improve the quality and effectiveness of sterile processes and practices
- Communicate clearly and respectfully
