**ServiceNow CMDB project.**

This role would be suited to someone comfortable with being "hands-on" with the platform as an Admin/Super User - i.e. can identify CMDB problems and work with customer to model CMDB for telco devices and bulk upload approx. 200 million CI & asset.

**CMDB Implementation**:

- Lead the implementation and configuration of the CMDB for telco asset/Ci using the ServiceNow platform, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and organizational requirements.

**Configuration Management**:

- Establish and maintain configuration management processes, standards, and policies to govern the identification, control, and tracking of configuration items (CIs) throughout their lifecycle.

**Data Accuracy and Integrity**:

- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of configuration data within the CMDB through regular audits, reconciliations, and verifications.

**Integration and Automation**:

- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate the CMDB with various systems and tools, enabling data population automation, enhancing data quality, and facilitating efficient change and incident management.

**Change and Release Management**:

- Support change and release management processes by providing accurate configuration information, assessing the impact of proposed changes, and ensuring proper documentation and communication of configuration-related changes.

**Reporting and Analytics**:

- Develop and generate reports, dashboards, and metrics from the CMDB to provide insights into the IT infrastructure, service dependencies, and compliance status.

**Documentation and Knowledge Management**:

- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to the CMDB, configuration management processes, and associated procedures. Promote knowledge sharing within the team and across the organization.

**Continuous Improvement**:

- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the CMDB and configuration management practices, recommend process improvements, and implement them in coordination with relevant stakeholders.

**Education**:

- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant certifications in IT service management (e.g., ITIL) and ServiceNow are highly desirable.

**Experience**:

- Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Senior ServiceNow consultant, with a specific focus on CMDB implementation for telco and administration using the ServiceNow platform.

**CMDB Expertise**:

- Demonstrate a strong understanding of CMDB concepts, including CI identification, classification, relationships, and impact analysis. Also, exhibit experience with ServiceNow CMDB modules and their configuration.

**ServiceNow Proficiency**:

- Have in-depth knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, including ServiceNow CMDB, ITOM, ITSM, and related modules. Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and Integration Hub is a valuable asset.

**ITIL Knowledge**:

- Possess familiarity with ITIL best practices, particularly in configuration management, change management, and asset management.

**Analytical Skills**:

- Exhibit the ability to analyze complex data sets, identify patterns, and draw meaningful insights. Proficiency in data manipulation and reporting using SQL, Excel, or similar tools is expected.

**Collaboration and Communication**:

- Possess strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration in cross-functional teams, the facilitation of discussions, and the presentation of ideas and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

**Problem-Solving**:

- Prove a track record of troubleshooting and resolving configuration-related issues, proposing innovative solutions, and mitigating risks associated with configuration management.

**Attention to Detail**:

- Maintain a meticulous approach to data accuracy, documentation, and quality assurance. Ability to ensure compliance with configuration management standards and audit requirements.

**Adaptability and Continuous Learning**:

- Show enthusiasm for staying current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to configuration management and IT service management.
