Leading Australian Software Development Company requires a permanent Technical Lead for their Sydney office.

The Technology Lead is responsible for bringing a user-centric, design-led approach to the design and development multiyear transformation program. This role will provide strategic digital and technical advice and input to all phrase of the program.

**On a daily basis you will be responsible for**:

- Lead and undertake detailed project tasks, including but not limited to, overall project planning, UX research, UX design, business process analysis and mapping, business needs prioritisation and delivery planning.
- Support and contribute to technical architecture and design of new system via active participations in technical workshops, discussions and review.
- Lead and build the detailed end-to-end technical delivery plan, including build, test, release, deployment transition, data migration, technology change management, decommissioning activities, handover to BAU, etc. to deliver all desired outcomes for the program.
- Utilise your strong commercial and technical skills to navigate and communicate across teams in order to create the best outcome possible for the stakeholders.
- Collaborate with key business and technical functions teams to deliver agreed outcomes.
- Ensure retention of Intellectual Property associated with Software Assets under the development of third parties or in-house.
- Comply with the requirements of the company quality management system including contributing to process management and improvement of documentation.

**To succeed in this role, you will have**:

- Formal qualifications in Information Technology, Agile, Scrum, Product Management, UX Design, Cloud, or other relevant knowledge areas.
- Experience working in technical leadership role in IT transformation projects, from ideation to realisation.
- Detailed understanding of digital technologies, covering Web, Mobile, API, Cloud, and Data.
- Proven influencing and negotiation skills.
- Experience working in an Agile environment, utilising best practice methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Detailed understanding at all levels of modern digital product design, development, and delivery methodologies, as well as related processes and procedures, and team structures.
- Experience working with a team comprised of internal and vendor resources.
- Consulting experience desirable.
