The Head of Technology at Girton Grammar School plays a pivotal role in shaping and driving the technology strategy within the educational context. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and management of all technology-related initiatives within the school, ensuring that they align with the school's educational goals and objectives.

**Selection Criteria**
- Appropriate qualification and registrations as a teacher
- Proven experience in educational leadership role, with a track record of excellent teaching.
- Strong understanding of educational research around the science of learning and explicit instruction and willingness to continue to improve their own teaching practice.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills in an educational context.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with educators and stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- A commitment to professional development
- Excellent personal communication, administrative and organisational skills
- Commitment to student wellbeing and child safety, demonstrating an understanding of appropriate behaviours
when engaging with children, including children with diverse needs and backgrounds
- Commitment to co-curricular activities
