Medical Receptionist

**Who we are**:
We are a fully accredited, privately owned family medical clinic based in Sandgate — conveniently located near shopping centres, pharmacies, and public transport. Our clinic has grown steadily in recent months, with several new doctors joining the team.

To support this growth, we’re looking to welcome **1 experienced receptionist**, and **1-2 additional team members** who may be newer to medical reception and eager to learn.

**About the role**:
We are hiring for **casual and/or part-time** positions. Shifts range from **8 to 32 hours per week**, with a rotating roster across weekdays. **Some Saturday morning availability is required**, and flexibility to assist with occasional leave cover is appreciated.

You'll be part of a small, supportive reception team working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Greeting and assisting patients in a warm and professional manner
- Managing incoming calls and appointment bookings (BP Premier system)
- Processing Medicare billings and payments
- Liaising with doctors, nurses, and other clinic staff
- General administrative and front-desk duties

**What We’re Looking For**
- A confident **medical receptionist with prior GP or clinic experience**, or
- A **fast learner** with strong customer service skills and a desire to grow into the role

- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team

Previous experience in a General Practice or medical settings is **highly regarded**, but **not essential.**
