**ABOUT THE ROLE**

We are looking for a reliable, customer friendly and fast learning person to lead our Workshop** **Team at our Belmore, 2192 branch based in Sydney. Enjoy the security of this permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, leading a small team of Mechanics to ensure repairs and inspections are completed safely and on time in line with our Auction deadlines. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Overseeing the daily operations of the Workshop
- Lead, coach and develop a small team of Mechanics
- Conducting vehicle safety inspections
- Perform minor repairs on vehicles and servicing of vehicles
- Working closely with the Belmore Leadership team to ensure that targets and deadlines are met
- Providing outstanding customer service to our customers, vendors and buyers
- Maintaining and ensuring a safe work environment and following all WHS processes and procedures
- Maintain & constantly seek out suppliers, new and old to ensure that workshop supplies as needed are at competitive pricing to maximise revenue.

**ABOUT YOU**

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:

- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
- Leadership and prior management experience
- Full Mechanic qualifications
- Current & valid driver's licence
- Relevant experience working in a high paced mechanic workshop
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Vehicle Safety Inspection Licence (Pink Slip)
- Blue Slip Licence (Desirable)
