Metal Fabricator

Sutton Engineering Group is located in Sydney’s West and has specialised in steel fabrication for over 40 years. The company services a wide variety of industries, including quarrying, tower cranes, manufacturing and construction.

We are seeking a self-motivated Tradesperson to fill a fulltime position in our medium to heavy fabrication business, located in St Marys.
- About the Role: _

You will be required to conduct metal fabricator duties within our factory and on various sites across Sydney and surrounding areas.
- Key Responsibilities: _
- General fabrication for various projects
- Site installation and maintenance
- Ensuring standard of work is of high quality and completed in a timely manner
- Undertake general housekeeping duties within the workshop environment
- Adhere to WHS policies and procedures
- To be successful in this role, you will have: _
- Recently completed a Certificate IV in Engineering (Heavy Fabrication) or an associated trade
- The ability to interpret detailed drawings
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in mechanical fitting, factory maintenance and steel erection
- Your own PPE and hand tools
- Access to own vehicle or reliable methods of transport
- Current Australian driver’s license
- Additional skills that are seen as desirable include: _
- Forklift license
- High risk work license
- Dogging, Rigging, Scaffolding and Elevated Work Platform tickets
- Confined space ticket
- Working at height ticket

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
