**About the Role**:
We are seeking a highly motivated team member to join us as a **Quality Coordinator**in **Melbourne, Victoria**.**This is a busy role in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and plays a critical role in maintaining product and process quality through quality assurance and control activities. The Quality Coordinator ensures products and processes meet regulatory requirements, conform to Moddex specifications, and conform to other applicable industry standards.

Your days will be busy and varied, and will include:

- Maintaining and improving quality assurance
- Collaborating internally and with suppliers
- Investigate and resolve non-conformances and opportunities for improvement
- Conducting regular inspections, tests, and audits
- Maintaining accurate records of quality assurance and control activities
- Prepare and present quality-related information to management and stakeholders**
- Integrated Management Systems and Administration assistance
- Staying updated on Training and Compliance

**About You**:
You will **thrive** in this role if you have a positive attitude to work and are willing to be trained.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (materials science, engineering, quality management, health and safety) or equivalent work experience with applicable work references.
- Proven experience in quality assurance and control within a manufacturing or supply chain environment. Knowledge and/or experience in tooling, casting, coating (HDG), cutting, welding and bending of metal products will be highly valued.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems, methodologies, and tools.
- Knowledge of defect management and ability to generate statistical reporting
- Collaborative communication style with the ability to work effectively as a member of a team and resolve conflict
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Organizational, time management, and continuous improvement mindset.
