- **Salary** - **Total Indicative Remuneration - Classification - MDP2 - Medical Practitioner - $105,751 to $171,579 p.a (includes award salary, superannuation and any other monetary benefits)**:

- **Full time - Term Contract**- The total term of employment with SA Health will be 3 years. Rotations will follow in the initial 12 months Obstetrics & Gynaecology RMO and will be determined in line with your training and SA Health's requirements. This may include transfer to other SA Health locations to perform work appropriate to classification, skills and capabilities.

**About the Opportunity**

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join as the **Obstetrics and Gynaecology RMO,** where you will be responsible for:

- Rotating through various Obstetrics & Gynaecology (O&G) units to gain broad clinical exposure
- Providing clinical care to O&G inpatients and outpatients under consultant supervision
- Participating in a seven-day roster, including after-hours shifts as required
- Demonstrating commitment to clinical teaching and contributing to research projects
- Completing a rotation at the Pregnancy Advisory Centre (21 Belmore Terrace, Woodville Park - CALHN), if required

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (BMBS) or equivalent,
- Registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration
- Ability to work as an effective team member in a multi-disciplinary environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
- Ability to work under stressful conditions and/or high workloads

The **Southern Adelaide Local Health Network** - Flinders Medical Centre (FMC) is the southern area's largest hospital and provides medical services for people living in the southern metropolitan area of Adelaide. The hospital is co-located with the Flinders University School of Medicine and Flinders Private Hospital.

It is one of two major trauma centres in the state with around-the-clock emergency retrieval service bringing patients to the hospital by road or helicopter.

LMH is today recognised as a leading teaching institution for health care professionals. It works closely with the Muna Paiendi Aboriginal Community Health Centre, located on site.
