**Position Overview**:
As a Heavy Vehicle Transport Consultant, you will play a crucial role in advising clients on heavy vehicle operations, compliance with regulations, and best practices in the transport industry. You will leverage your expertise to help businesses improve their logistics, enhance safety, and optimize their fleet management.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide expert advice on heavy vehicle regulations, compliance, and operational standards.
- Conduct assessments and audits of clients' transport operations and fleet management systems.
- Develop tailored strategies to improve efficiency and safety in heavy vehicle transport.
- Assist individual contractor clients in navigating contractual and regulatory requirements within the contractual relationship between the Cartage Contractor and the Principal Contractor
- Assist Corporate clients in navigating regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Offer training and support to clients and their staff on industry best practices.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies to provide cutting-edge solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and challenges.

**Qualifications**:

- Heavy Vehicle Transport Management Experience i.e. former or current Logistics/Transport Manager.
- In-depth knowledge of heavy vehicle regulations and compliance requirements in Queensland.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for transport management.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel as needed.

Pay: $50,605.25 - $126,940.53 per year

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
