**The Opportunity**
Our Port Kembla Manufacturing facility is looking for a**n Electrical Maintenance Coordinator** in our** Slabmaking team**based in **Port Kembla**. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.
The Slab making department uses a combination of AC/DC and Inverter driven manual cranes with lifting capacities ranging from 1 to 450t to meet the diverse lifting requirements for a range of slabmaking equipment. In this role, you will focus on the coordination of maintenance activities to these cranes while supervising maintenance works.

**What Will You Do?**
As the electrical maintenance coordinator, you will:
- supervise the day-to-day management of plant maintenance activities, including planning, organising, execution and review of maintenance
- coordinate and provide technical support to the maintenance resources within the section
- coach, mentor and develop maintenance personnel in manufacturing excellence principles and process, particularly around root cause and problem analysis and the development and execution of corrective actions
- participate in cost reduction and capital upgrade projects
- respond to the day-to-day electrical availability and reliability issue
**More About You**
As an experienced electrician, you will have natural leadership qualities, work effectively in cross-functional groups and thrive in a team environment. You will also have:
- electrical trade qualifications, or an advanced diploma in electrical engineering
- an NSW Electrical licence
- experience with troubleshooting PLC Systems, Drives and AC/DC motors.
