**About the position**
As a Therapy Assistant at Northcott you will deliver Occupational Therapy, Speech pathology & Physiotherapy programs to our clients under instruction and guidance of a qualified Allied Health Professional. Therapy programs will include individual and group therapy programs for clients, in an individual and family centred model of practice.

This position is offered on a casual basis, and is centred locally in Toowoomba and the surrounding community. You will receive regular support from our Therapists in person and also remotely. Initially 1-2 days per week are available, however the hours on offer are envisaged to grow based on your capacity.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Support our clients and their families to achieve their therapy goals with delivery of therapy programs.
- Further your experience in the fast growing disability sector, whilst receiving ongoing and careful support from our Allied Health Professionals
- Be a champion for our customers and support them to achieve their goals and independence

**Key Requirements**
- Allied Health students currently studying an allied health degree (e.g. SP, OT, DT, PT) living locally, perhaps studying externally - or;
- Certificate IV in Allied Health, - or;
- Fully qualified and/or experienced Allied Health Assistant (min Cert III).
- Hold a valid Working With Children Check (Blue Card) and NDIS Worker Screening clearance.
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module training.
- Current First Aid and CPR.
- Current drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and an understanding of the importance of professional boundaries and scope of practice.
