**The Service**

Located in South Turramurra, this 20-place preschool is open Monday to Friday 8:15am - 3:45pm.

At KU South Turramurra Preschool, our welcoming and supportive environment provides a range of thoughtful, interesting and inviting resources and experiences that encourage children to develop positive dispositions to learning that will prepare them for school, such as curiosity, confidence, creativity, enthusiasm, imagination, persistence and reflexivity. With local bush land surroundings, KU South Turramurra Preschool has a strong interest in bush kinder and sustainability.

**The Role**

We are looking for a **Certificate III **qualified Educator who values partnering with families, is a team player, takes initiative and wants to join a passionate, capable and dedicated team.

This is a **part time, permanent **position that will see you providing break cover between **11:30am-2:30pm (3 hours per day), Wednesday-Friday **. Access to additional casual hours is available if desired.

We want you to be as passionate about early childhood education and as committed to achieving positive outcomes as we are.

**To be considered, you must have**:

- Current Employee Working with Children Check.
- Work rights to enable you to work in Australia
- Current Child Protection Training
- Recognised Certificate III in Children’s Services or similar as approved by Australian Children’s Education and Quality Authority (ACECQA)
- Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
- Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
- Professional level of written and verbal communication skills
