**The Role**

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Food Safety Officer to join team in our Perth Corporate office, located in Perth’s bustling commercial and industry district with travel to our sites located in WA.

Primary responsibilities of this role include the implementation of Civeo food safety standards, policy, procedures, training, communication, inspections, audits, monitoring and compliance standards across Civeo Villages in Western Australia, whilst supporting the overall function of the HSQE team.

Additionally, this role involves assisting Civeo to maintain compliance with respective Food Safety legislation, HACCP, codes of practice, standards and the adoption of good practice to minimise food safety risks, ensure customers expectations are met and establish a strong safety culture within the organisation.

**About You**

To be successful, you will have:

- Minimum of 3 years practical experience in a supervising role within the Hospitality sector
- Tertiary Qualifications in Food Science, Microbiology, Quality Assurance or related discipline is desired
- Certificate III in Hospitality highly desirable
- Food Safety Supervisor certificate highly desirable
- Experience preparing and delivering training programs desirable
- Audit experience is desirable
- Understanding of HACCP, Quality ISO 9001, Food Safety ISO 22000
- Knowledge of HSQE legislation and practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to learn other software and systems such as SharePoint and Myosh
- Ability to plan and establish priorities, meet deadlines
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work under pressure, and independently
- Current C Class Driver’s Licence
