**Description**:
About the role

Role provided on a fixed term basis for 12 months covering maternity leave.

Based in Forest Lake, QLD & reporting to the General Manager - Human Resources, you will use your generalist experience to provide a high quality, responsive & professional Human Resource service within the Northern Region.

**In this role you will**:
- Develop & maintain effective working relationship with key stakeholders to understand & support the achievement of business goals & priorities
- Support leaders & employees in the provision of the full range of employee lifecycle services, onboarding through to offboarding
- Coach people leaders to understand HR requirements & collaborate to develop solutions that best meet business needs & desired outcomes
- Coordinate full range of recruitment & selection activities across the Region
- Provide advice & support on industrial & employee relations issues, including managing escalated or complex cases as required
- Support the implementation of national HR activities within the Region
- Contribute to the development & implementation of strategic HR projects & initiatives.

**Skills and Experiences**:
Skills and experience
- Tertiary qualifications in HR with generalist experience in a similar role, providing strategic and operational advice to leaders
- High level end to end recruitment & selection skills, including talent searching
- Ability to engage & communicate with clarity, purpose & impact across all levels
- Proficiency in advising on & managing employment relations issues
- Knowledge of current HR practices, trends & strategies
