Civil Designer

**The Role**

We are looking for a motivated person that is going to enhance our team with their experience in AutoCAD as well as an understanding of Civil Engineering principles. As a Civil Designer or Draftsperson at Vital Design Solutions, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Working closely with senior designers and engineers to complete documentation and reporting.
- Consulting with clients, other industry professionals and the relevant authorities.
- Completing work assigned to you within the specified time frames.

You will be required to draft/design elements within the Civil discipline with mínimal guidance. These include, but are not limited to:

- Pavement design and spatial planning
- Pedestrian and cycle path design
- Capacity analysis
- Easement design
- Pavement design
- Waste management calculations, planning and assessment
- Collection vehicle assessment and selection
- Vehicle modelling
- Waste water management
- Environmental management
- Traffic guidance schemes
- Traffic control assessments
- Site grading

**Minimum requirements**
- Minimum one year experience as a Civil Design Draftsperson in the ACT.
- A strong knowledge of Australian Standards, ACT regulations and associated procedures.
- Demonstrated proficiency in 2D AutoCAD.
- Ability to complete projects to a high standard.

To be negotiated depending on experience.
