Business Process Outsourcing Manager

**The opportunity
Embark on a visionary quest as the leader of BPO projects for the HI business. Transition selected processes to outsourced partners, forging strategic outcomes through cross-functional collaboration.

Bring together stakeholders, master risk management, and drive process efficiency with your exceptional skills.

Manage multiple concurrent projects and journey through two phases:

- Establishing the BPO approach and delivering pilot projects
- Transitioning into ongoing BPO management, overseeing the roadmap and project completion.

**This is a permanent full-time position, based in Melbourne office. (Bupa offers hybrid working arrangements and you can work from the office or from home)**

**How will I help?**

**You will add value by**:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify target BPO processes, focusing on customer journeys and internal enabling processes.

**BPO Vendor Selection**:

- Define selection criteria in partnership with procurement for a long-term BPO partnership.
- Conduct on-site due diligence of BPO vendors, assessing their delivery capabilities.
- Act as the key contact between BPO vendors and business process owners, overseeing pilot projects and the outsourcing roadmap.

**Project Initiation**:

- Collaborate with sponsors and process owners to initiate BPO projects and define scope and requirements.
- Identify resources, create resource plans, and ensure timely engagement for project success

**Project Governance & Control**:

- Establish and monitor project governance aligned with Bupa's framework, including resource plans and schedules.
- Manage project budgets in collaboration with Finance and ensure accurate tracking.
- Effectively handle project dependencies, including technology and release management.

**What do I need?**
- Extensive experience leading BPO projects with a strong focus on change management.
- In-depth understanding and successful compliance with relevant regulatory outsourcing standards.
- Demonstrated expertise in project management, including status reporting, scheduling, dependency management, financial/budget management, and risk management.
- Proven track record of negotiating successful outcomes with stakeholders, including sponsors and project managers.
