**Role Overview**

Our client is a federal government agency looking out for a Security Advisor to provide support and advice in relation to Protective Security identified risks, issues and problems, whom will also liaise with a range of stakeholders in relation to complex, difficult or sensitive issues.

**Key Responsibilities including**:

- Assist site managers and staff to understand and fulfill their Protective Security responsibilities
- Provide advice to the organisation
- Assist in the development, maintenance and review of security policies and procedures
- Manage security, emergency management and incident reporting protocols

**Skills and experience**
- 1-3 years of Security-related experience with prior exposure/ experience in IT
- Demonstrated experience in the development, implementation and/or monitoring the completion of assurance programs
- Protective Security experience or relevant qualifications
