We are seeking a School Manager to join School of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences, Faculty of Health, Academic Division.

**About the area**

The School of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences includes the disciplines of sports and exercise science, nutrition and dietetics, and health and physical education. The School offers bachelor degrees in each of the discipline areas as well as postgraduate study at MPhil and PhD levels. The School has a strong research culture and expects members to undertake scholarly research and to supervise research students.

**What you need to succeed**
- Education, training or relevant experience equivalent to postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or extensive experience and management experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Demonstrated experience in financial management and budgeting.
- Demonstrated ability to display initiative, critically evaluate current systems and processes and contribute new ideas to achieve ongoing improvements in the provision of services at strategic and operational levels.
- Demonstrated experience in engaging with internal and external stakeholders, including industry and community groups.
- High level written communication skills, and experience in preparing clear and concise reports, plans and complex correspondence using a variety of digital technologies.
- Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect and collaborate with varied groups, work effectively in teams, and encourage client focus in other staff members.
- High level ability to manage time and tasks effectively and meet a range of competing deadlines in a timely manner without compromising quality.
