**The Role**

Working in the Australian mining and water sector, as a Hydrogeologist in our Perth office, you will collect, manage, and report on groundwater data. Your key objectives will include:

- drilling supervision and geological logging;
- monitoring bore and VWP installations;
- conducting field tests (slug tests, packer tests, and pumping tests);
- routine collection of water samples;
- bore design and technical specifications;
- data analysis and interpretation;
- provide input and planning of projects including field programs
- reporting ; and
- learning our bespoke numerical modelling techniques

This is a full-time role with a good work life balance and a long-term development pathway, advancing your career as a groundwater consultant. **You**

You will be seeking to join an integrative specialist groundwater team as you build your knowledge and develop a career in groundwater with us, embarking on a challenging mix of field work and desktop studies. A successful applicant will have the following:

- a degree in earth science, geoscience, environmental science or geology. Post graduate studies in hydrogeology would be an advantage;
- an appreciation of the importance of accurate data collection;
- a balance of field and desktop capabilities, with an interest in modelling being an advantage;
- strong verbal and written communication and sound report writing skills; and
- a valid manual drivers’ licence, preferably with 4WD experience and certification.

Preferably you would also have experience in:

- drilling supervision, bore installations, and groundwater sampling; and
- VWP installations, pumping tests, and packer testing (on-going training will be provided).

We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and practical self-starter to commit to cyclical field work routines throughout Western Australia as well as various locations around Australia on occasion.

You will be unafraid to roll your sleeves up, be physically fit, resilient, relate well to people from all walks of life, and enjoy a balance of desktop studies and being out in the field.

Graduates with an enthusiastic, committed approach, and relevant theoretical knowledge will also be considered.
