**Who we are**:
Australian Disability Services (ADS) is a multi-disciplinary team that comprises Allied Health Professionals, Disability Support Workers, Child Psychologist, Speech Therapists, Counsellor, Physiotherapist, Recreation Therapists, Therapy Assistants. Music Therapists, Home and Backyard Maintenance Workers, Transport Workers, Interpreters. We claim ADS - is a place where disability turns into "ability'. We focus on the strength of people while helping each individual overcome the disadvantages of any types to improve their quality of life.
**The role**:
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Doing NDIS applicants' administrative and clerical tasks both soft and hard copies
- Creating folders and switching clients from applicants to participants
- Typing reports and support letters
- Following up on required reports with clients for strong supporting evidence
- Following up with NDIA for requirements to meet access
- Problem solving skills in report writing
- Arranging medical appointments (with external psychologist) AS REQUIRED
- Answering general enquiries about NDIS at reception
- Answering phone calls and taking messages (covering reception) AS REQUIRED
- Conducting Verbal Access Requests via phone call
- Filling out Access Request forms AS REQUIRED
- Filling out Supporting evidence forms
- Filling out Evidence of psychosocial disability forms
- Filling out Consent to exchange information forms
- Arranging meetings and appointments with NDIS
- NDIS phone debates (in relation to why potential participant should meet access)
- Internal Reviews AS REQUIRED
- Report editing
- Assisting therapist AS REQUIRED
- Conducting plan meetings (either at office or NDIA building)
- Maintaining folders on servers
- Preparing documents for plan meetings (prior to meetings)
- Scheduling meetings and appointments for more information on client AS REQUIRED
**Essential Qualification/Skills**
- Proficiency in MS Office, with exceptional knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
**Essential Requirements**
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Police Check
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, Graduate
