**About the opportunity**

Our new Moorebank NDC (MoNDC) is currently under construction, and it's set to be a game-changer. Located in Moorebank NSW, MoNDC is the newest addition to the Primary Connect Network, boasting an impressive 44,900 sqm facility that's almost three times the size of the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). With this expansion, we're taking Primary Connect's national supply chain to the next level. The state-of-the-art facility will also incorporate advanced automation technology, allowing for faster and more efficient handling of the 12,000 product lines, and further strengthening Woolworths Group's commitment to sustainability and innovation in the logistics industry.

**As our Systems and Inventory Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our cutting-edge technology, you'll **lead a team to support the on-going DC operations in their management of the inventory and site systems in the new site. You will have the opportunity to help develop these systems and will work as part of a larger team to deliver a just in time supply chain to ensure stores can put the right products in consumers hands as simply and safely as possible **. You'll lead, **coach and mentor direct reports, creating a customer first culture that delivers great results. **This role is key during the transition phase of our project and will be heavily involved in a multitude of transitional activities. You'll be collaborating and problem solving with the project team and other leaders, participating in system testing including DILO, operations readiness and commissioning activities and developing documentation eg work instructions, SOP’s and processes.
**Knowledge and Experience;**
- **Demonstrated operations, inventory and systems experience**
- **Demonstrated Leadership of a team**
- **Knowledge of Six Sigma or lean processing principles**
- **Experienced at leading and implementing change**
- **Extensive experience in FMCG, Distribution, retail, people management**
- **Desirable, formal qualifications in business or Primary Connect operations
**Skills and Competencies;
- **Previous experience in Inventory & Systems and/or retail/FMCG**
- **Previous experience in DC operations and/or retail/FMCG**
- **Strong people leadership skills and knowledge**
- **Strong planning and problem solving skills and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks**
- **Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage business relationships with internal and external stakeholders**
- **Strong skills within a variety of computer programs**
- **Demonstrates logical thinking and effective problem solving approaches**
- **Pro-actively seeks continuous improvement methods**
- **Demonstrates honesty and integrity in all interactions, commitments and decision making
