**About us**:
Healthcare Australia (HCA) is a national organisation that provides assistance to disability service providers when they are short staffed. We are currently experiencing a demand for skilled Disability Support Workers in Lismore, Ballina and Alstonville, NSW.

HCA is highly regarded within the disability industry and we are a leading supplier of staffing services to hospitals, aged care and community organisations throughout Australia, so the opportunities for our workforce is extensive.

**About the role**:

- Supporting clients currently residing in a residential home or supported independent living (SIL)
- This is a casual role, though there are opportunities to transition to a permanent employment with our host organisation
- Our shifts have a minimum engagement of 3 hours though are more often between 4-8 hours in length

To be considered for this role you will need:

- **Minimum of 2 Covid19 vaccinations**:

- **6 months + relevant experience as a Disability Support Worker or similar field**:

- Experience in engaging and supporting young people
- Be able to do a mixture of shifts - short hours, long hours, AM, PM and sleepover shifts. Ability to also pick up adhoc shifts
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate - (or willing to obtain)
- Current NDIS Workers Screening
- Current NSW Working with children clearance
- Unrestricted Australian drivers license
