**About the role**:
Reporting directly to the General Manager - Quality, Education, and Compliance, this important role will oversee the use and maintenance of Learning and Assessment Systems used within the business (E.g. Student Management System, Learning Management System, Assessment Portfolio collection system), as well as supporting that delivery and assessment content remains industry current, aligned with Training Package requirements, and of a high quality. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of compliance and quality within our organisation.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Coordinating moderation and validation (pre, post and external) activities;
- Plan, coordinate and manage the development of courseware, assessments and RPL kits;
- Manage the Learning Systems team members, ensuring they perform tasks in a timely and accurate manner including offering live online support to students;
- Communicating key changes in Training Packages to relevant teams and making updates as required;
- Managing internal resource development team members as well as external instructional designers;
- Support the General Manager - Quality, Education, and Compliance in supporting compliance requirements aligned with data reporting and learning and assessment materials;
- Collaborate with the General Manager - Quality, Education, and Compliance to develop and implement robust compliance policies, procedures, and frameworks that align with regulatory and contractual requirements in relation to the data and learning systems in place as well as the learning and assessment materials in use;
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure adherence to funding contract guidelines, rules, and regulations;
- Monitor and evaluate internal compliance controls, proactively identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective risk mitigation measures;
- Stay up to date with changes in regulatory frameworks and data reporting guidelines, advising the General Manager - Quality, Education, and Compliance and stakeholders on necessary actions;
- Provide day to day operational guidance and training to staff members, fostering a culture of compliance awareness and understanding;
- Identifying new technology to streamline functions and processes through automation, cost reduce and reduced turnaround time.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Diploma or above in business administration, IT, compliance, or a related field.
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
- Proven experience in a Managerial role within the vocational education and training sector.
- Sound knowledge of regulatory and contractual compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with relevant legislation, standards, and guidelines governing the vocational education and training industry.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and identify areas for improvement.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high level of accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively conveying compliance requirements and providing training and guidance.
- Collaborative mindset with a proven ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of auditing principles and proficiency in using MS Office Suite and compliance management software as well as systems including VETtrak, Canvas, ReadySkills.
