In partnership with the NSW Government, the Parklife Metro consortium (comprised of Plenary, RATP Dev, Siemens, and Webuild) is delivering a transformative, city-shaping metro rail project in Greater Western Sydney.

RDWSA will be responsible for the operations and maintenance of the Parklife Metro for 15 years.

**About the Role**:
Reporting to the O&M Readiness Director, the O&M Readiness Manager will play a key role in ensuring RDWSA's business functions achieve full operational readiness ahead of Day One Revenue Service for the Sydney Metro Western Sydney Airport project. Acting as a key connector, the O&M Readiness Manager will bring together people, processes, tools, and contractual obligations to ensure a seamless and efficient operational launch. Your day to day responsibilities might include:

- Managing the O&M readiness program, tracking progress, and addressing key risks
- Coordinating people, documentation, IT, procurement, accreditation, and stakeholder readiness
- Overseeing planning and execution, ensuring readiness for testing, trial operations, and Day One service
- Supporting staff recruitment and training in collaboration with HR
- Identifying and mitigating risks to ensure a smooth transition to operations

**About you**:
To be successful in this role, you will have at least 10 years of experience in the railway industry, with expertise in automated rail systems (GoA4) and operational and maintenance project aspects being highly desirable.

You will also bring:

- A tertiary qualification in engineering, rail operations, project management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Comprehensive knowledge of the local rail industry, including Rail Safety National Law and ONRSR major project regulations
- Strong project management, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication abilities with a focus on quality, compliance, and meeting deadlines under pressure
