**About our client**:
Beaumont People is excited to be partnering with a brilliant not-for-profit organisation recognised as the national peak health organisation in Australia for LGBTIQ+ people and communities. With over 50 membership organisations, this organisation has been supporting LGBTIQ+ communities for nearly 16 years. They work collaboratively to develop and deliver programs and initiatives which promote LGBTIQ+ health and well-being across Australia. These programs are comprehensive and address a wide range of community initiatives, including mental health, aged care, palliative care, disability and domestic family violence.

**About the Role**:
Are you a dedicated and experienced professional in mental health and suicide prevention? As Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Manager, you will lead and coordinate the implementation of the Mindout Program. You will play a pivotal role in delivering evidence-based programs aimed at preventing suicide and enhancing the mental health and well-being of LGBTIQ+ populations. Your leadership will guide the successful delivery of various initiatives funded through the National Suicide Prevention Leadership and Support Program (NSPLSP), working collaboratively with member organizations and key stakeholders across Australia.

**You will also**:

- Manage the Mindout Training Program, delivering evidence-based training
- Oversee program deliverables and compliance with contractual requirements
- Cultivate relationships with partners and stakeholders, and collaborate to support sector development and promote mental health
- Manage budgets and program documentation
- Represent LHA at relevant forums and committees

**A Bit About You**:
To have success in the role you will be a compassionate and experienced professional with an ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders. You will also have:

- Demonstrated knowledge of LGBTIQ+ sectors, services, and systems
- Tertiary qualifications in mental health and wellbeing, education and training, social science or other relevant fields are highly desirable
- Program management experience, including harm reduction and peer education
- Understanding of targeted education, training, and capacity-building models
- Experience with program governance and stakeholder engagement
- Familiarity with LGBTIQ+ mental health and suicide prevention research and a commitment to mental health and suicide prevention
- Experience developing training modules/e-learning modules is highly desired.
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills
