Le Bon Choix are currently seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to join our professional team, as we are growing in customers and sales volumes

**For this position, you will be required to perform the following**:

- Expertly crafting a diverse range of baked delicacies including pies, quiches, fillings, utilizing both traditional and contemporary French recipes.
- Producing products from scratch recipes (no premixes used in our kitchens) and calculate %’s weights.
- Diligently monitoring inventory levels of ingredient essentials like flour, sugar, etc., and placing orders according to budget constraints.
- Conducting thorough assessments of ingredient quality and the operational condition of cooking equipment and tools.
- Identifying staffing requirements and actively participating in the recruitment and training process.
- Be able to check the quality of all raw materials.
- Monitoring equipment and ovens to ensure quality of production.
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene and Health and Safety standards for the equipment and work premises.
- May be required for evening and weekends.
- Proven experience in a kitchen hand role.
- Strong proactive leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Problem solving and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of industry trends and a passion for culinary excellence.
- Proficient in inventory management and financial record-keeping.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
- May need to be required for evening and weekends.
