We are seeking a **School Officer - Learning Support (Middle/Senior Phase)**. In this role, you will support teachers and students in creating the optimum conditions for learning.

**You will**:

- Under the direction of teaching staff deliver high quality one-to-one and small group support using structured and planned interventions;
- Work with students under teacher direction using strategies to support students to achieve learning goals and providing feedback regarding student achievement, progress, and challenges;
- Assist and participate in activities that improve the physical, social, emotional and intellectual development of students.

**Ideally you will have**:

- Previous experience as a School officer - Learning Support and/or hold a minimum a Cert 3 in Educational Support;
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills;
- An understanding of the work of a classroom and a willingness to work as part of a team;

**To be eligible to be considered for this role you will**:

- Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- Be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- Have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
