**Your part in Buderim Private Hospital**
- Support with customer and patient enquiries via online Message Centre, phone and via front desk
- Answer incoming calls and transfer to appropriate areas of the hospital including communication requests for staff and doctors within the hospital.
- Complete patient admissions and pre-admissions face to face and online
- Prepare patient medical records for next day admissions.
- Complete patient health fund checks and verifications
- Complete chart filing to assist the medical records team.
- Complete data entry to support other departments of the hospital.
- Assist hospital wards with bed transfers and in ensuring discharges are processed efficiently
- Other administration duties or coverage to assist the Patient Administration team

**What makes a difference for us?**
- Previous Medical Receptionist experience (Highly Desirable)
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to liaise with a variety of individuals from all walks of life and backgrounds
- Adaptability to changing priorities, with the ability to shift focus day to day
- Excellent time-management skills, with the ability to independently prioritise your workload
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in your day to day work
- An ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, providing support as required
