The Salvation Army is one of Australia’s largest providers of alcohol and other drug services. We offer a range of services including Harm Reduction and Primary Health Services as well as a range of treatment types (including residential treatment centres, community-based support programs, counselling and withdrawal management services). TSA Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) services WA offers support across two sites. Firstly, clients are assessed at Bridge House in Highgate, and then, if they are suitable, they transition to a 13 week programme at Harry Hunters Recovery Centre in Gosnells.

We are currently seeking a values-driven and proactive After Hours Support Worker to provide high quality support services to people undergoing rehabilitiation at Harry Hunter. This role will be reporting to the Assistant Manager located at Harry Hunters Recovery Centre in Gosnells. We currently have 3 casual position available.

You will successfully
- Develop positive relationships with clients, providing appropriate services to their complex needs
- Provide crisis intervention as required for clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to date client records
- Maintain client confidentiality inside and outside the organistion
- Assist with basic IT and administration tasks

You will have
- Minimum Certificate IV (or currently enrolled in) in community services, AOD or mental health. Diploma level qualifications are strongly preferred
- Experience in AOD and mental health is essential
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Willing to undergo mandatory National Police Check
- Valid WA Employee Working with Children Check
- Ability to provide proof of Eligibility to Work in Australia
