Seeking Casual Disability Support Worker - North of the River

Devoted Healthcare is a disability service provider (NDIS registered) that supports individuals with varying disabilities. Our primary aim is to meet our client's support needs by matching compatible staff based on the client's preferences. We service the Perth metro area with services ranging from 1:1 in-home support to community access. Our office is based in Gosnells. We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed **Casual Disability Support Worker** to assist our **Mindarie** client, with availability for an immediate start Ideally, we are looking for a **female** to build a rapport with this client and family, and to assist with their needs.

A Disability Support Worker's role requires companionship, empathy, mentoring, positive behaviour support, and guidance. Activities may include assistance with daily living, domestic tasks, administering medication, behaviour management support, assistance with transport, and encouraging participation in community activities.

Requirements for this role:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module (or willing to obtain)
- First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain)
- Covid-19 fully vaccinated
- Relevant experience or at least a Certificate III in Disability
- Readiness to learn and adapt
- Valid driver's licence
