Labourly is seeking full-time casual Concreters to work for clients in the Greater Melbourne Region.
To be considered for this job, you must have both the following:
- Competent Concreter
- Access to a car and drivers licence.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Screeding and Finishing**: Skillfully level and smooth concrete using screeds and other tools. Finish surfaces by floating, troweling, and texturing as required to meet design specifications and ensure durability and aesthetic appearance.
- **Power Tool Operation**: Safely operate power tools necessary for cutting, shaping, and finishing concrete, including concrete saws, mixers, and vibrators to ensure optimal consistency and placement.
- **Site Clean-Up and Maintenance**: Maintain a clean and orderly work environment by managing concrete residue and debris. Ensure all areas are free from potential hazards, particularly during and after the pouring process.
- **Manual Handling and Support**: Perform physical tasks such as moving construction materials, setting up and removing forms, and transporting tools and equipment around the construction site. Assist in all phases of the concrete laying process under the guidance of supervisors.
