HEQS is an industry-leading company in the Sydney Metro Area. We operate from Monday to Saturday and we are excited to offer the opportunity for an experienced and self-driven Multi Drop Delivery Driver / Furniture Installer to join our growing team.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of our specialised freight local
- Delivery to our customer base in a timely and friendly manner, maintaining efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Unload and set up furniture and appliances, this will including heavy lifting
- Must follow company operation procedure and instructions
- Assemble Flat Pack Furniture in the warehouse in an efficient and effective manner, and maintain the workplace cleanliness and safety
- Wrapping assembled products in a protective manner
- May be required to unload incoming furniture trucks using material handling equipment (i.e., forklift, pallet jack).
- May be required to load transactional furniture orders onto trucks and deliver products to the customer. Completes furniture assembly/installation as per installation specifications to meet customer satisfaction.
- Inspects furniture for proper operability according to the manufacturer’s guidelines.
- It is required to maintain an efficient two-day turn-around on all furniture repair service calls and completes all required furniture service/repair paperwork (warranty or non-warranty).
- May be required to unload incoming furniture trucks using material handling equipment (i.e., forklift, pallet jack).
- Daily interaction with customers, division furniture staff, and furniture operations management.

**Eligibility & Skills**:

- Valid Australian Driver’s License (required)
- At least 1-year truck driving experience (required)
- Good driving record (required)
- Have sound knowledge of the Sydney Metro and surrounding suburbs, other states including best routes and times to travel to particular areas.
- Heavy Rigid Truck Driving License (preferred)
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize jobs and work in a team and independently
- Be well presented, organised, with a great work ethic and a warm and friendly personality

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

**Salary**: $150.00 - $350.00 per day

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

- Smithfield NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Delivery driver: 1 year (required)
- furniture installation: 1 year (preferred)
- removalist: 1 year (preferred)
- truck driving: 1 year (preferred)
- Forklift: 1 year (preferred)
- Heavy lifting: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 50% (preferred)
