In the Department of Radiation Oncology, we are looking for a talented Radiation Oncology Medical Physics Registrar to join our team. The Registrar will actively participate in all aspects of clinical Radiation Oncology Medical Physics, fulfilling the training and reporting requirements of the ACPSEM Training, Education, Accreditation Program (TEAP).

We have four Varian linacs comprising of three Truebeams and one Edge, an Xstrahl superficial unit, Elekta Flexitron HDR brachytherapy and Canon CT scanner. We use the C-Rad system for motion management and ExacTrac Dynamic for SRS treatments. Our treatment planning systems are: Varian Eclipse, Brainlab Elements and Elekta Oncentra. We use Varian’s Aria patient information management system and have a full range of dosimetry equipment and access to various software packages, most notably the Radformation suite of automation software.

We treat with a wide range of techniques, including Total Body Radiation, Stereotactic Radiosurgery and HDR brachytherapy and offer an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in all these areas. We are constantly developing and implementing new techniques and protocols within the multidisciplinary team (MDT). You will be busy, but we offer a supportive environment in a fun team with flexible work hours to achieve a good work/life balance.

**ESSENTIAL CRITERIA**
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physics from an Australian/NZ tertiary institution, or overseas equivalent as approved by NOOSR.
- Completed an ACPSEM approved postgraduate degree in Medical Physics, from a tertiary institution in Australia/NZ.
- Demonstrated excellent communication, interpersonal skills and teamwork.
- Demonstrated ability to produce work of a high professional and scientific standard.
- Flexibility in work hours, including weekends and early/late shifts.

**DESIRABLE CRITERIA**
- Proficiency or highly skilled in programming/coding/scripting and experience with AI
- Some experience with Varian products (Aria, Eclipse, linacs)
- Some experience with Brainlab products (Elements, ExacTrac Dynamic)
- Some experience in one or more of the following techniques: SRS, multiple mets, HDR brachytherapy, TBI, SBRT, DIBH, gating
