Looking for a Property Underwriter to join the Property Underwriting Team with a leading insurer.

**Your new role**
This role will see you managing a large portfolio of brokers with a strong focus on building relationships with various stakeholders. You will be required to work collaboratively in the team and produce quality technical underwriting.

Key Responsibilities
- Underwriting commercial property insurance, adhering to portfolio guidelines and personal underwriting authority.
- Manage a large portfolio of brokers.
- Delivering underwriting sales and service to our partners within an efficient timescale, working closely with the team to ensure all priorities and deadlines are met.
- Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Referring more complex risks to Lead Underwriters or higher underwriting licence holders

**What you'll need to succeed**
- You will have a minimum 3 years Underwriting Experience with a previous focus on ISR and/or Property Underwriting.
- Have up to date knowledge of the insurance industry and products.
- Have a strong understanding of Risk Management principles and be able to translate this to Risk Analysis and Selection.
- Data driven decision-making and risk assessment skills.
- Ability to develop successful working relationships with stakeholders and other team members.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, ensuring work practises are in line. with agreed guidelines and protocols.
