**Art Teacher Assistant - After School Art Classes (Eastern Suburbs)**

**Casual Position | Tuesdays, 3-5pm | Immediate Start**

We’re looking for a warm, reliable, and creative **Art Teacher Assistant** to join our after-school art program, working with primary-aged children across Eastern Suburbs schools.

If you enjoy working with kids and have a genuine interest in visual arts, this role is a great opportunity to develop your teaching experience in a fun, supportive environment.

**About the Role**
- Assist the lead art teacher with setup, supervision, and pack-up of classes
- Support children as they explore art projects and creative activities
- Help maintain a calm, engaging, and safe learning space
- Follow directions and contribute to the smooth running of each session

Classes run **Tuesdays from 3-5pm** during school terms. Additional days may become available as our programs continue to grow.

**About You**
- Confident working with young children (ages 5-12)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Organised, dependable, and able to follow instructions
- Background or current study in **Visual Arts** or **Education** highly regarded
- Current **Working With Children Check (WWCC)** required

This position is ideal for **education or art students** looking for hands-on experience in a supportive teaching environment.
