Due to significant growth, they are seeking a Medical Affairs Associate to join their Medical and Regulatory Department. You will provide key support and leadership by implementing Medical Compliance and Information as well as coordinating key marketing support activities such as material review and training.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Our client is a category leader in dermatology, with a global portfolio of premium flagship brands and services. They pride themselves in delivering greater consumer engagement, generating better customer insights, and driving continuous innovation.

Due to significant growth, they are seeking a Medical Affairs Associate to join their Medical and Regulatory Department.

You will provide key support and leadership by implementing Medical Compliance and Information as well as coordinating key marketing support activities such as material review and training.

**KEY DUTIES**:

- Conduct review and approval of HCP engagements and interactions in accordance with local and global client policies and procedures.
- Review and provide guidance on appropriate expenditure and transfers of value to healthcare professionals to ensure compliance with local and internal codes.
- Provide Medical Affairs support and guidance to Marketing on promotional campaigns, marketing activities and new product launches in a collaborative manner with a view to optimise business outcomes & minimise risk.
- Provide quality medical and scientific information to sales and marketing personnel to support promotional activities.
- Function as Back up LSO to manage and review the reporting of Adverse Events to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and local codes.
- Create/update local SOPs to reflect local work practices in accordance with Corporate SOPs.
- Provide training as required for marketing and field force representatives in the areas of Product Knowledge/Therapeutic Areas, Medical Enquiries, Adverse Event reporting, Medicines Australia, and relevant industry codes.

**REQUIREMENTS AND IDEAL PROFILE**:

- Degree within a scientific discipline (pharmacy preferred) and knowledge of products and related disease states is required to interpret information.
- 2+ years' experience in medical affairs ideally working with prescription or cosmetics is required.
- Experience with Medical Information and Pharmacovigilance is highly desirable.
- Thorough knowledge of the MA, TGACC and ASMI Codes, Guidelines and Corporate Standards and applicable laws.
