Join our Downer Professional Services team and play a key role in delivering complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australia’s future.
- Downer Professional Services is comprised of two business units, our Technical, Advisory, and Capability consulting practice and Team Downer, a major service partner to Defence. Together, we are a
multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for our clients in Defence and National Security.
- We currently have an opportunity for an ILS Officer in Canberra to work on Joint projects **.**

**What You’ll Do**
- This role offers a broad scope, with key role responsibilities including:- Provide technical ILS advice for project planning, procedures, and Support System Constituent Capabilities during acquisition.- Support logistics activities including RAM analysis, sparing, LORA, costing, capability transition, and advising on Fundamental Inputs to Capability (FIC).- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at both strategic and operational levels.- Ensure Logistics Governance & Assurance by following Defence policies, processes, and record-keeping standards.

**What You’ll Bring**- Proven experience in ICT system administration with strong technical capability.- Solid understanding of the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM) and compliance requirements.- Formal qualifications in information security, plus certifications in VMware Workspace ONE UEM, AWS, and Microsoft Office 365.- Ability to work independently with initiative and responsibility, supported by strong written (Defence standards) and oral communication skills.- Exposure to aviation environments, demonstrating adaptability in complex operational contexts.
- Due to the nature of the work, you are required to currently hold and maintain a minimum ** Negative Vetting 1** or higher Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth. In some instances, compliance with ** International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)** requirements may also be an inherent requirement.
