**Your Key Accountabilities**:
**The core capability requirements for this role are**:

- Provide a prosecution service for the area of responsibility, including the management and supervision of a team of prosecutors
- Provide efficient and effective court representation on behalf of the Police Service, and advice to members of the Service, including complex operational and legal matters.
- Liaise, consult and negotiate with members of the Queensland Police Service, the legal profession, government and non-government agencies and members of the community towards the establishment of effective working relationships and achievement of desired policing outcomes.
- Take a lead role in the development and provision of high-quality legal research, opinion, advice, arguments and submissions for provision to the Court, senior management and peers.
- Undertake coordination activities for Prosecution Services as directed by Legal Division.

This role will perform the function of Youth Justice Coordinator within the Youth Prosecution Support Unit
