- 8-10 years of experience
- Installation, Administration and Maintenance of SQL Server Instances
- Owns the strategic direction for the database topography. Demonstrate the ability to provide an overall high-level design of technical or service solutions for complex business situations.
- Design, configuration and escalated problem management (at expert level) in client environments of high complexity.
- Design database backup and restore strategy.
- Setup High-Availability as part of Disaster Recovery Strategy for the Databases
- Troubleshoot various problems that arise in the day-to-day operations and fix the issues.
- Monitoring and Performance Tuning; Physical Server Level, Database level (Database settings and options) and query tuning to include index optimizations.
- Manage Maintenance Plans
- Manage/ monitor backups to ensure they are being performed regularly.
- Display Strong client service orientation and strive for client engagement.
- Contribute expertise around the design and configuration requirements in relation to complex RFP / RFI and proposals.
**TECHNICAL SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE**
- Microsoft SQL Server DBA experience.
- Microsoft Azure experience
- SSIS / SSAS / SSRS experience
**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 6 months
**Salary**: $21.00 - $35.00 per hour
