**Manager Warehousing, Clerk Grade 9/10, Wollongong**
- Play a crucial role in the support of volunteers and the communities of NSW, as a Warehousing Manager with the NSW State Emergency Service.
- Capitalise on your excellent leadership capabilities and thorough knowledge of warehousing operations, to lead the warehousing team and drive strategic warehousing direction across the agency
- Ongoing opportunity based at NSW SES State Headquarters in Wollongong, with regular attendance also required at the State Warehouse Facility (Coniston).

**About the opportunity**

The NSW SES is looking for an ambitious warehousing manager to take on the opportunity to lead the state warehousing team and warehousing operations for the NSW SES.

As the Manager Warehousing, you will be instrumental in the review and optimisation of warehousing, supply chain and inventory management strategies and procedures.

You will be responsible for leading your own team, and all warehousing operations to ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service and warehousing support to NSW State Headquarters, Zones and Volunteer Units across NSW.

This is a varied role with responsibilities extending to the development and implementation of asset management and equipment delivery plans, budget management and reporting, consultation and engagement with diverse stakeholder groups and ensuring compliance with industry safety protocols.

**About you**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A Diploma in a relevant discipline, or equivalent warehousing, logistics, supply chain, procurement and asset/equipment management experience
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing system and process reform in the areas of procurement, inventory optimisation, supply chain and/or asset management
- Initiative and strong drive for optimising existing operations and processes
- Exceptional leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Well-versed in industry relevant software (preferably SAP) and reporting standards
- Thorough knowledge of AIIMS principles and processes, and/or willingness to obtain competence within 12 months
