Are you a Payroll Officer working for a small company who is looking to expand their skills with a large employer using SAP? Or are you a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is excited to learn new skills in the People or Finance space?

Aurizon's Payroll Services team has a solid and fully supported training program to make you an exceptional payroll team member.

As Aurizon continues to grow, we are seeking to expand the Payroll Services team to support new initiatives. Working with a team of highly skilled and technical capable payroll officers you will be coached and mentored to your full potential. We are currently looking for 1 x full time and 1 x maximum term (12 months) Payroll officers.

**You will be responsible for-**
- Providing effective customer service to Aurizon's employees and leaders via both the electronic ticketing system and incoming phone calls.
- Fast and accurate manual data entry of timesheets, employees reimbursements, travelling allowances and study assistance claims.
- Ensuring compliance with governance procedures and controls to ensure accurate records for all employees.
- Providing informed advice regarding employee entitlements in response to queries.
- Participating in the ongoing review of relevant processes and procedures within the Payroll Services team.

**About you**:
You are proficient with technology and have a demonstrated ability to grasp new systems quickly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Approachable and positive personality
- Have experience within a payroll function
- Ability to effectively set priorities and meet deadlines.
- An organised nature and time management skills are a must
- High level of attention to detail to ensure complete and accurate entry of information
- Ability to be self-motivated and driven to work independently and determine and action the correct response/solution
