Experienced APS5 Case Management Support required for a 12-month assignment based in Brisbane CBD.

Our client is known for supporting a better life for Australians with significant and permanent disability, and for their families and carers. We are currently seeking an APS5 Case Management Support to join their team for a 12-month assignment with the possibility to extend.

**Your new role**

The APS5 Case Management Support is a team membership position and is accountable for organising their workflow and making independent decisions relating to an area of responsibility. The position will be required to provide policy advice within an area of specialisation with advice based on policies and legislation.
- Researching and drafting responses for complaints, Ministerial and other documents as required.
- Managing the requests for medical and functional assessments.
- Preparing and filing Tribunal documents as required for Applications received within strict time frames.
- Assessing and responding to risk from processes, including in terms of privacy considerations and priority.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Attention to detail.
- Computer literacy
- The ability to produce work in a deadline driven environment.
- High organisational / administrative abilities
- Methodical and process driven.
- Inquisitive and problem-solving approach.
- Paralegal or similar (law student / legal admin) background is highly desirable.
- Be an Australian Citizen.
- Ability to pass a Criminal History Check.
- Working with Children Check.

**What you'll get in return**
