**Supply Chain Specialist ANZ - Global Lifesciences Organisation**
**Our client is a leading and highly successful Global Lifesciences organisation with a reputation for developing, manufacturing, and marketing quality products for the medical, diagnostics and research sectors.**
This position will serve to undertake and execute the effective functioning of supply chain processes including coordination of shipments (inbound and outbound), liaising with suppliers and 3PLs, contract monitoring, reporting on and ensuring compliance with supply chain policies and regulations, including coordinating the supply of day-to
- day goods and services for the organisation in Australia and New Zealand.
**Some key responsibilities include**:
- Be the first point of contact for any 3PL related matters in ANZ.
- Lead all the logístical projects related to ANZ.
- Process and analyse freight quotes required.
- Evaluate received 3PL invoices and ensure compliance.
- Ensure compliance in terms of Supply Chain Management policies and assist the sales team for Supply Chain matters for tenders.
- Provide management and both internal and external stakeholders with Supply Chain Management related advice.
- Liaise with 3PL on daily basis to communicate the business needs and expectations.
- Checking the 3PL performance against KPIs and provide improvement points to the 3PL and the direct manager.
- Raise and review CAPAs for any 3PL related matters.
- Implement an effective document control and filing system.
- Take ownership for all the logístical movements in ANZ inbound and outbound and provide up to date reports to the stakeholders.
- Ensure that the SAP databases are up to date and that customer/planning expectations are met.
**The successful applicant must possess the following**:
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar position, with a strong background in logistics and 3PL management.
- Proficiency in understanding international trade law and supply chain regulations is essential.
- Expertise in interpreting and enforcing logístical contracts is advantageous.
- Computer literacy, including experience with Excel, SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Strong presentation skills (both verbal and written) and effective communication abilities.
- Ability to travel to the 3PL site once every 2 weeks (must have a valid driver's license).
