This Marketing Advisor role has a specific focus on developing and delivering campaigns and communications to guide and support customers through the many changes that impact the roads and public transport network.

This includes providing crucial information for communities to plan their journeys through planned disruptions, maintenance works, special events, timetable changes and navigating new assets and infrastructure on the network. Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, this position ensures coordinated and consistent communications across DTP and partner channels to ensure accurate, reliable and timely information is available across all customer touchpoints.

**Position Outcomes / Accountabilities**
- Effective Campaign Plans** -** The Marketing Advisor has ensured that campaign plans and materials are high quality, customised to channel and have delivered according to set objectives;
- Campaign Integration** -**has ensured that campaigns have been integrated into the channel experience and are consistent and coordinated.
- Timely Delivery** -**has ensured that campaign materials have been delivered on time as per the marketing and content calendars.
- Budget Management** -**has ensured that campaign spending has been appropriately tracked,managed, and delivered on budget.
- Informed Stakeholders** -** Internal and external stakeholders have been made aware of and understand the campaigns that are delivered.
- Promote and support safe, inclusive and flexible team operations.
- In line with Section 31A of the Public Administration Act 2004 (Vic) other duties may be assigned consistent with employment classification, skills, and capabilities

**Key Selection Criteria**

As a Marketing Advisor, you will ensure that day-to-day activities align with the team and organizational strategies. You will identify and develop objectives, guiding your team through the strategic planning process to link strategies with actionable outcomes. Your role will involve collaborating with stakeholders and users to co-create marketing solutions. You will work closely with experts to understand user needs, gather insights, and validate strategies through prototyping and testing. Timely decision-making will be crucial to maintain project momentum. You will be responsible for defining and managing tasks to achieve agreed outcomes, monitoring progress, and implementing corrective actions when necessary. Effective communication is essential; you will use appropriate media to present information clearly and develop understanding among diverse audiences.

**Qualifications and Experience**

**Mandatory**
- Demonstrated previous experience in customer led marketing, communications or community engagement role. Previous experience in government, transport or related industry is desirable, but not essential.

**Desirable**
- Relevant tertiary qualification in marketing or a communications related discipline
