- Have proven experience in coordinating and developing communications/marketing materials
- Demonstrate an understanding of communications principles and practices as well as communication platforms; including online, digital and print
- Be experienced writing for a range of platforms including web, social media, media releases and publications
- Have knowledge of using and maintaining digital platforms including website, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc
- Demonstrate experience in photography and videography, including camera operation and video editing for social media
- Be able to interpret and promote the culture of John Paul College and the Catholic ethos into the wider community
- Have highly developed interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to liaise and communicate effectively with people at all levels
- Have exceptional organisational skills
- Possess a calm, friendly and professional manner
- Have the ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Demonstrate an understanding of the ethos of a Catholic school and its mission

This is a full time position and is classified as a Education Support Employee, Category C with employment conditions as per CEMEA Agreement (2022).
