**The Opportunity**
We are seeking **Expressions of Interest** from experienced **Shot Firers and Bench Hands** to work on the Blast Crew at Thiess Mt Arthur South Project.
**About The Role**
Working a 5/4 day shift roster and reporting to the Drill & Blast Supervisor, your duties will include:
**BENCH HANDS**
- Assist in the safe and efficient execution of blasting
- Dipping blast hole
- Blast area delineation
- Dipping and recording of blast holes
- Priming, loading, and tagging of blast holes under the supervision of the Shotfirer in Charge
- Operation of various ancillary equipment - stemming truck, loader, and bobcat
- Blast Guarding
- Assist in unloading and loading raw material deliveries into on-site storage or MPUs
**SHOT FIRERS**
- Day to day field operations, including blasting targets are met
- A safe and healthy workplace for all employees is maintained
- Community and Environmental compliance objectives are adhered to
- Transport and Delivery of dangerous goods is safely conducted
- Housekeeping in magazines, magazine compound, explosive vehicles and work areas are kept to high level

- Experience working as part of a blast crew
- Valid Drivers’ Licence is essential
- Current BUEL and Security Clearance (UHL) (Shotfirers)
- Security Clearance (UHL) desirable (Bench Hands)
- Coal mining experience is desirable
- Ability to operate a Loader, Bobcat and Stemming truck is desirable
- HR Licence desirable
