Their niche is in designing, building and marketing innovative, custom-built digital solutions that have enabled brands like Mazda & BMW to centralize their data, improve lead generation, customer engagement + more.

In addition to building digital experiences (we’re talking 900+ websites and counting), AdTorque Edge has built a variety of different tools and products designed uniquely for their industry.

Currently, they're rebuilding a product (from scratch) which will allow consumers to buy second-hand cars 100% online, without ever having to step foot into a dealership. This will require greater product thinking & doing in the development team to pull off (+ this is where you’d come in)

The AdTorque Edge team works hybrid, a mix of remote WFH & coming together to collaborate in person at their northern suburbs HQ in Preston once a week. Flexibility is a big part of this business's success.

**Your future impact as a Technical Delivery Lead**

**People**

You’ll join AdTorque Edge’s product development squad to lead a team of 5 developers. You’ll be a software leader who will thrive on the challenge of building an engineering culture, delivering a great product, and working closely with customers.

**Delivery**

Creative problem solving & translating complex customer processes and requirements into technical briefs (which will inform the build of this new product) is the name of the game here. You’ll enjoy working with nontechnical folks and tech-y folks alike, happily explaining, presenting (and managing expectations for) all.of.the.things. You’ll be the voice of prioritisation in keeping humans, resources, costs, and time in harmony.

**Tech**

Whilst this isn’t a hands-on coding or system design role, ideally you’ll have a background in web development, be no stranger to defining and estimating complexity and scope, and know your way around API integrations too. There’s a Technical Lead already in the team who will support you with all strategic tech decisions + system design, so this won’t necessarily be in a hands-on capacity.

**The techy bits**

AdTorque Edge builds modern websites, tools and products using a variety of tech. For smaller websites they create Wordpress plugins using JS and PHP, with a healthy mix of REST API integrations, all the way up to their stand alone products which are built using Vue.JS, PHP, MySQL, and GCP. In this role, you’ll be leading a team of developers to build a product in their modern tech stack, the team won’t be working on any legacy systems - the proposition here is to help build something new from scratch.

**A little bit about you**
- You’ve lead development teams before, ideally in either an agency or product environment
- You’ve been in a delivery role before where you’ve been responsible for planning, estimating, organising, coordinating and measuring projects
- You have experience with client workshops, including entirely nontechnical audiences, and endeavor to always maintain and build quality customer relationships + experiences
- You have a background as a web developer and still keep up to date the latest tech.
