**The Role**
The APS 6 Material Maintenance Manager at Joint Logistics Unit (West) is accountable for a variety of activities including the development of regional plans, forecasting of future workload and inventory requirements and repair parts to support the sustainment and acquisition of materiel logistics. The role is responsible for implementing and ensuring compliance with policy, processes and procedures to support the sustainment of equipment.
The role of the APS 6 Material Maintenance Manager is to manage work with capability managers on the delivery and sustainment of various fleets and platforms. The APS 6 Material Maintenance Manager has responsibility for managing a team in the development and contribution to strategies, plans and budgets in support of Defence platforms and equipment.
